Twilight meeting.

Thu, Jan 28th 2016 at 6:15 pm - 6:45 pm

Preese Hall, Weeton, Preston PR4 3HT Gin tasting with an evening meal thrown in.

A meal will be provided which will be covered by the normal subscription system so no payment is required on the night unless you are an Associate Member.

The premises are not licenced so the Gin will be provided free of charge. We will, however, be making a donation to our host's chosen charity.

Also, bearing in mind the premises are not licenced, you may bring you own alcoholic refreshments to accompany your meal.

The event is being held in the shooting lodge at the farm and it can be a bit cool so I recommend you wrap up warm for the evening.

It is also not easy to find the farm. Attached is a copy of a map to help you find it. If you don't know the area the easiest way to explain the directions is to take the A583 Preston to Blackpool Road.

At the traffic lights at the junction with the B5260 signposted Wrea Green, South, and Weeton, North, (David Hargreaves Farmhouse is on the corner) turn North to Weeton.

At the T Junction in Weeton, opposite the Eagle and Child turn right still following the B5260 signposted Singleton.

When you are approaching the main entrance to Weeton Barracks on the left take a sharp left turn at the same junction but before the barracks entrance and follow this to the farm.

As with all normal Rotary meetings it is a case of apologies to Derek by Tuesday 26th January if you are not coming. No apology for absence and the usual "fine" system applies. For Associate members who wish to come, please let Derek know by Tuesday 26th January.
