When all the money is received over £10,000 will have been made on the Day making over £160,000 raised for charity by this event since 1997. The Prize Giving was conducted by Weston Club Captain and Weston Rotary President Terry Gilbert.

President Terry presented cheques of £1,200 each to the local branches of Crossroads Young Carers, RNLI, Cancer Research and Weston Hospicecare. The balance will be donated to other mainly local charities as needs arise.

All the Tees and Greens were fully sponsored and President Terry Gilbert said “I must thank all the players and local businesses and organisations for their tremendous support in making this day so successful, particularly our Main Sponsor this year Santander, and of course the Members of Weston Rotary Club and West Woodspring Inner Wheel for all the hard work of organising and running the event, especially Committee Chairman James Robertson and his wife Aileen.”
