Notes of meeting 1/6/15

Good Morning All, welcome to Summer!! Just a few jottings from last evenings meeting. They are just jottings and apologies for omissions and errors. 1). We held a minutes silence to remember Rotarian Ken. 2). Birthday wishes to Rtns Denis and John Negus on the 3rd 3). Denis brought greetings from Pres. of Manningtree Stour Valley RC whilst on the 'Mayflower Walk' on Sunday. 4). A reminder re letters previously circulated see your emails. 5). Mayflower School thanks the Club for the £500 towards the Library Project, invoices were attached and the Treasurer requested to pay as per pledge. 6). RC of Manningtree Stour Valley sent Poster( to be circulated ) re their Young musicians Music Festival, also a request for a donation to hep cost. This referred to CC. 7). Letter from Tony O'Neil trustee and curator of the LV18 re a mobility buggy. This referred to CC. 8). A reminder that Charter Night is on 15th June, Cost £20, partners, friends and friends of Rotary all invited. Please encourage all to attend. 9). Club Assembly on 22nd...reminder to all incoming Officers to submit their plans to Sec. In first instance and deliver their plans at the meeting. ( email to follow) 10). Treasurer to edit accounts by the end of month. Summary Account submitted for CC mins. 11). Next Meeting on the 8th will be mins of CC, and ROVs are Foster Heeney and Hills. Normal arrangement if you are able to attend. 12). Apols to Neil by midday on the 8th if you are unable to attend. AOB. 1) Club wished Bon Voyage to members going to Bremerhaven. 2) Norman Cory reported leaks in container and urgent action required. 3) Club welcomed Chris Strachan this evening, Chris reported that all ok with Jazz Band.
