The fourth Trawden Beer & Music Festival returned bigger and better and was an unqualified success with an estimated 1500 plus attendance over the week-end. Over 7000 pints of real ale were consumed by the thirsty throng and the music of local bands and artists was received with universal acclaim. The venue was changed this year to the Trawden Recreational Ground which was packed to the rafters on Friday and Saturday nights. This event showcases Rotary at peak performance, a brilliant event, providing fun and entertainment for the Community and, at the same time, raising a substantial amount for local charities; Pendleside Hospice, Rosemere Cancer Trust, Derian House and Petal Cancer Research.
So thanks to the people who came along, our generous sponsors, the musicians, the Trawden Arms, The Trawden Forest Community Cenre and all those who gave of their time and talents for free, we all combined to make TBMF17 a roaring success.
