Speaker Eliza McLachlan - An Accidental Hen Keeper

Eliza McLachlan is "An Accidental Henkeeper" and gave an amusing illustrated talk about her egg-layers to Kilrymont St. Andrews Rotarians.

Eliza was a chartered accountant in London and went on to become a financial controller with an advertising agency.

Retiring early to move to St. Andrews 20 years ago, she has been busy bringing up three children and involved with hotels and rental properties.

She kept her accountancy skills honed by helping various clubs and associations and one of her local clients was Hens Made Easy.

This was her introduction to keeping hens and Eliza now has several hens, ducks and geese.

She revealed fascinating details about the different variety of birds she has including their eating and egg-laying habits.

Eliza was introduced by president Isobel Clifford and George McIntosh proposed thanks.
