A busy year ahead was outlined at last week's meeting of the Rotary Club chaired by President Mairhi Trickett.  The various committees met and discussed their forthcoming plans which included a cheese/wine night at the High School; quiz night; literary high tea; cooking demonstration; mock interviews and a local street collection all to raise funds to support local and international, particularly Third World, charities and good causes.  The President wished members success in their forthcoming endeavours.  Gus Neilson reported that £244 had been raised to date in the weekly bonus ball run in conjunction with the National Lottery for Rotary Foundation funds.
