President Lesley Kennedy welcomed 15 other members — the first full attendance, excluding Denis Taylor, of the rotary year — and one guest, Michael Green, who was best man when Gordon Burgess was married.
The secretary reported that a total of 17 members and spouses would be attending the Joint Christmas Dinner with the Garelochside club at Helensburgh Golf Club on Monday December 14 at 7 for 7.15pm, tickets £23, dress lounge suit. Members made their menu choices.
After the secretary read the Board Minutes, the weekly draw for a whisky miniature was won by Gordon Burgess. He went on to win the first prize in the December monthly draw, a bottle of 12 year-old Bowmore single malt, with the second prize, a small bottle of Oban whisky, going to Graham Smith. A bottle of Rose Spumante was won by Ron Dunachie, and a bottle of Prosecco by president Lesley.
