The Club welcomed Joan Nicol of Capital Consultants, Alan Chalmers of Campion Homes – both companies have strongly supported the club`s AM AM golf event for Maggie’s charity.
Tumong Edwards of Maggie`s charity spoke movingly about the way in which cancer patients and families are affected. A video of several cancer sufferers personal story was shown. Tumong explained that the patients benefit from interacting amongst themselves in the ambience of the centre. The Teenage cancer Trust has been welcomed to share in the Kirkcaldy site, instead of travelling to RHSC in Edinburgh, for local sufferers. London St Bart`s hospital is the latest appeal to raise the capital for design and building of the facility. Tumong is organising a Walk event in November.
