Club Projects Workshop

The Workshop meeting on 27.10.15 was attended by a "heavyweight"  team of visitors from Duns RC  -   Past President Ken Fraser,  Past President Ronnie Cryer, Past President Ronnie Nicol and Mike Hudson Treasurer. Their club has a catchment of only 2,000 population. They are holding an Open day soon to introduce potential members from  a list of 20 local names.

The Workshop was facilitated by Dave RIddell  ( Incoming President) and proved extremely useful in defining the goals and actions required to increase membership.I n particular, more  lady members should be sought to expand the current nucleus of two ladies  ( bi-nucleate ?) . Stephanie and others, made some useful suggestions on collaborating with ladies in  other organisations ( Gala committees, wives and secretaries of business contacts  etc. ) .
