Minor Sports - First Round

For the first time this year we have been drawn away to the Rotary Club of Northampton.  They have invited us to participate in the usual series of 'pub games' which normally include darts, skittles, dominoes etc..

The invited time of arrival is 7.15pm for 7.30pm with a view to playing games from 7.30pm to about 8.45pm when a fish and chip supper will be served @ approx. £7.00 per head.

Wives, husbands and partners are welcome as all games are played on a mixed doubles basis!

Attendance list will be circulated at the next meetings.

Update : Having put in three teams for the first round of the District Quiz (two more than any other Club) we were delighted to put a team through to the District Final for the third year in succession!.  Paul, John, Bob and David played an inspired Joker which allowed them to make a late run for the line, beating a team from Wellingborough Hatton by a single point!  Their reward is a Final at the Holiday Inn in Corby on the evening of 12th November 2015.  We wish them good luck and hope that they can go one better than a couple of years ago when we came second
