With You We Can Accomplish Even More

We are volunteers working to benefit our local and international communities. With you we can accomplish even more.

Do you want to "give something back" to our Sittingbourne community, but don't want to become a Rotarian? That's OK, there are many volunteering opportunities that you can undertake.

Volunteering Opportunities

We regularly volunteer to provide service work within the local community. Maybe you'd like to volunteer too by helping at various events including:

  • Marie Curie Cancer Care's annual Great Daffodil Appeal - collecting for a couple of hours
  • Sittingbourne 10K Race - help us with marshalling duties or registration
  • Decorating - public places like Phoenix House or Quinton Community Playgroup
  • Copicing work - helping Kent Wildlife Trust at Cromers Wood
  • Tree planting in Milton Creek Country Park
  • Know your Blood Pressure - helping us to run this annual event in support of Stroke Awareness
  • Art in the Park & Sport in the Park - join us in helping the Friends of Milton Creek Country Park
  • Gardening at the Bob Fowler Community Allotment
  • Beach cleaning
  • Presenting shows or working behind the scenes at Rotary Radio UK

There's always something for you to help us with in Sittingbourne.

Become a Friend of Invicta

We have a list of "Friends of Invicta"; people who come along to support our fundraising events and/or volunteer at various events. Friends receive a quarterly club newsletter to keep them informed of what's going on.

If you would like to receive our newsletters please contact us at newsletter@invictarotary.org
