The French Connection

Visit from our friends from Grenoble Sud


Trinity were delighted to welcome a party of our friends from the Club Rotaire de Grenoble Sud for their bi-annual visit to our Club.

After allowing our guests to have a relaxing evening with their hosts on the Friday to recover after their journey, it was all systems go on Saturday with a leisurely lunch at the Three Horseshoes at Wareham before visiting Holkham Hall, the ancestral home of the Earl of Leicester, for a conducted tour.

Middleton Hall Golf Club was the evening venue for a dinner with the opportunity for our French friends to socialize with all of the Trinity members able to attend.

Sunday morning our French friends were treated to a "Full English" at Marriott's Warehouse,itself steeped in history, to build up their strength for the journey from King's Lynn Station back to deepest France

We waved farewell with more than a tinge of regret on both sides that the stay could not be longer

Au Revoir but not goodbye more "a bientot"
