Despite persistant rain the annual Octoberfest fun run for children took place at Caedmon College thanks to Shaun Hopper and members of our Club.
Over 60 runners took part with lots of parents there too to support them and so the event was once again a great success.
A host of primary schools provided the participents.Ruswarp C of E provided the most but there were also runners from Airy Hill,Stakesby,East Whitby,Goathland,Glaisdale,Fylingdales,Lythe,St Hilda's and Seton primaries in addition to Caedmon and Eskdale.

Mike Bunn,our President,said 'it is central to the work that we do to support the youth of our community in offering them opportunities. Today was one such occasion and when you see the smiles on the faces of all the finishers it makes it all worthwhile'.
