Update - November 2016

The latest information on Foundation

We would like to thank everyone who supported the Quiz night last month.  Forty-nine people attended and it was great that some people who did not attend nevertheless made donations.  As a result we made a net profit of £376.50.  This some will be donated to the polio eradication project and it will mean that so far with the aid of the grant from the Bill Gates foundation it will receive a total of £1123.50.  Our target is still £1500 so we shall have another fundraising event in the spring.

The reports of the war against polio are encouraging.  As of 9th November there were a total of 31 cases of polio for the year.  The number for the similar period in 2015 was 74.  Clearly we must continue with our efforts.

There was recently the Bill Huntley Peace seminar in Bradford. An update from an attendee will follow shortly.
