ROTA KIDS

Rota Kids

RotaKids Ryvers started at the beginning of the school term. The club consists of 12 boys from years 3 to 6, who have been chosen by the school and it is lead by Mrs Carmel White, who is one of the form teachers. We meet every Monday during the term between 2pm and 3pm.

The club has elected a president, vice president, secretary and vice secretary and the meetings are held formally with minutes!

On Thursday 22nd October the Ryvers RotaKids were fully chartered.

During school assembly the boys introduced themselves, the mascot-a lion and the club to the rest of the school. They then each received a certificate, which had been signed by Philip Holmes, the President of Langley and Iver Rotary Club and a RotaKids base ball cap. Philip presented these as well as a club Charter Certificate, signed by the District Rotary President. This means that now Ryvers School has a fully functional reconised RotaKids Club.

Malcolm Granger kindly came and photographed the occasion.

We have many activities which I'm looking forward to doing during the next few mnths with the RotaKids.
