BURNS NIGHT

Fri, Jan 29th 2016 at 12:00 am - 12:00 am

WHITE CHURCH in COMRIE

Ah, the skirl of the pipes.. the taste of the dram…and the smell of the mothballs as all the old Highland gear is ceremonially brought out for it’s annual airing; namely Burns Night. This year was an exceptional one with a good turnout being matched by excellent guest speakers in the form of Jim McLaren, Bob Carruth and Elaine Davidson ably assisted by our own John Taylor and Willie Bell with musical accompaniment by Rob Bolton and the evening was chaired manfully by our own President Jim. In the evocative words of the bard himself, the evening was "No Bad!"
