Business Meeting

On Thursday 4th February the Rotary Club of South Queensferry held a business meeting at the Hawes Inn. Committee Convenors gave reports and the club discussed ongoing projects.

Rotary Forth Bridge Abseil 2016

RAISE £130 FOR CHARITY

ON SUNDAY 26TH JUNE 2016

Abseil from one of Scotland's best known landmarks, now a World Heritage Site. Courtesy of Network Rail we offer a high-level adventure under the direction of expert instructors. Experience the thrill of vertically descending 165ft from the Forth Rail Bridge at South Queensferry.

This year's adopted charities are:

AGE SCOTLAND (the largest charity in Scotland dedicated to supporting people in later life) and

CHAS (Children's Hospice Association Scotland).

Abseiling places are also being made available to other local charities.

·       No previous abseiling experience necessary

·       Commemorative certificate and t-shirt

·       Minimum age 16 years. People under 18 must have parental consent

·       No upper age limit or weight restriction, but participants must be in good general health

·       £30 non-refundable deposit per person to enter

·       Minimum of £130 further sponsorship required
