Ms Amy Telford

On Thursday 10th March the speaker at the Rotary Club of South Queensferry was Amy Telford from the Sick Kids Friends Foundation. The Foundation supports and complements the work of the Royal Hospital for Sick Children in Edinburgh. It funds comforts and distractions for children and their families, medical equipment and research, play services, arts projects and staff training. Since 1992 the Foundation has contributed over 10 million ponds to support children and their families. in and interesting and informative talk, Amy explained that the Foundation is currently in the process of raising 2.9 million pounds to provide facilities for the new Sick Kids Hospital due to open at Little France in 2017. Amy Telford was introduced by Robert Brechin. The vote of thanks was proposed by Jill Templeton.
