The Club’s visit to Bath Christmas Market

The weather was excellent as 20 Rotarians and their friends met up at Hungerford’s town Hall to join the coach to take them to one of the best Christmas Markets in Europe. Set against a background of Historic Bath buildings the market created a wonderful atmosphere for the happy shoppers. Lots of local crafts were represented at the market showing an array of unusual and interesting gifts. There was a break in the shopping as the Rotarians and friends all met up for at the Greenpark Brassiere to enjoy an excellent lunch. This was followed by another couple of hours of enjoying the sights and the sounds of a festive Bath before returning to the coach and back to Hungerford. An excellent day out! All thanks to Fiona and her committee for arranging the event. This may become an annual feature on the club’s calendar.
