Mar 2016 Litter Pick - Clean for the Queen

Sat, Mar 5th 2016 at 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

To celebrate the 90th Birthday of Queen Elizabeth II on the 21Apr16 - clean up where you live!

This weekend is a National Event to help celebrate the 90th Birthday of our Queen - quite an achievement.

Its always nice to clean up before a big event so people across the country will be looking around them to see what they can help with .

Locally the Club is working with the environmental group in Histon to ensure the road verges are sparkly.

Get in touch with David Adamson to co-ordinate cars and equipment.

If you want help in your area - just get in touch.

See You There !  Saturday 9.30am  - 12.30pm.

Paul D has already been busy and collected our first 2 full bags - On the Day a team of 6 collected an additonal 16 full bags of rubbish between Histon, Oakington and Girton -

Huge Thanks to David, Ian, Alan, Sian, Thomas and John (a visiting Rtn from Bristol Breakfast Club)
