I hail from Carlisle, Pennsylvania (USA), but was raised in an Army family that moved all over the United States and the world.
I graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in May 2015, where I earned my bachelors degree in civil engineering and served as a Cadet Battalion Commander in charge of almost 400 other cadets. I earned my commission as an Engineer Officer in the US Army before winning a Rotary Scholarship to support my studies at the University of Cambridge.
Here in Cambridge, I am in the MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development, with a focus on basic water infrastructure in developing nations (Water and Sanitation area of focus).
Following my completion of this degree in September 2016, I will return to the US Army to fulfill my five-year service obligation as an Engineer Officer. After that, I hope to join a private engineering firm to continue developing, designing, and building sustainable infrastructure around the world.
