Fri 20th May 2016 at 19.00 - 21.00
We will be hosting a live broadcast of BBC Radio 4's "Any Questions?" in the RGS Performing Arts Centre as part of our Centenary Year programme of events.
As part of our Centenary celebrations, on the evening of Friday May 20, the BBC will broadcast one of their Radio 4 Question Time radio programmes from the Performing Arts Centre (PAC) at the Royal Grammar School. The programme, which is broadcast live each Friday evening on BBC Radio 4, is usually hosted by Jonathan Dimbleby and features a panel of well-known people who answer questions on current affairs. There is no charge for tickets Fronted by Jonathan Dimbleby, we do not know the panel at this time. However, we have been asked by the BBC to arrange the distribution of around 270 free tickets. A small committee comprising Peter Tracey, Bruce McNiven, Geoff Brindle, Jo Robertson and Linda Turnbull are hard at work arranging for the tickets to be distributed to a balanced selection of organisations. Any member who wishes tickets for themselves and their friends should contact any of the above as soon as possible as the "free" tickets are expected to go fast.
The audience should be in their seats by 7.30pm and the broadcast will be from 8pm to 9pm.
