Subject: Thames Tideway Tunnel
On Thursday 11th. February we were treated to a brilliant presentation about
the Thames Tideway Tunnel by Nick Butler.
The talk was preceded by a BAFTA winning video which showed, in a most
imaginative and amusing way, what happens to our waste once we have flushed
it down the toilet. Nick followed this up with a most interesting talk with
masses of information about the way our waste will be handled in the distant
future. Nick brought the meeting to a close with a lively and amusing
question and answer session.
