Kirkham Rotary club walk.

Sat, Apr 30th 2016 at 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

This weeks walk is one of our favourites. Now the water has subsided we will be walking The Plough at Evaes circular.

Distance 3.46 miles. Time to complete 1 hour 53 minutes. Total accent 92 feet.

Our walk starts and ends at The Plough at Eaves.  A lovely pub that sells excellent food and ales and has an extensive specials board.  Our walk takes us out of Eaves on the public roads before exiting via a stile into the open countryside.  Several stiles later, passing a victrorian stately home we again join the roads for a very short distance before joining the Lancaster canal via Moons bridge Harbour.  A leisurley walk along the canal, taking in the wonderful wildlife before we take the stile bu the electricity pylon.  A short distance walk sees us walking through several peoples gardens with a walkers right of way before we unexpectidly found ourselves back in the car park of the The Plough.
