Special Olympics (Swimming)

The Club sponsors the Special Olympics Swimming Competition held for swimmers with learning difficulties and organised with the assistance of Hull Swimming Club.


SPECIAL OLYMPICS - 5TH MARCH 2016.

The club sponsors this competition held annually at the Beverley Leisure Centre for swimmers with learning difficulties.  Swimmers from a wide region are joined by a team from Schiedam, Netherlands associated with our "twinned" club of Rotterdam Botlek.  Over 100 swimmers competed fiercely in events based on their capabilities which were rounded of by Relay races amid loud support!

The Rotary Club of Hull was 100 years old in 2020. What a year to choose you might say, well we didn't actually choose it, it just was. We had all sorts of events planned but in the end only one, our centenary evening went ahead.
