To start the bowls season it was agreed that we would have a fish and chip supper before we took to the greens.

We gathered at 6.30 pm with our bottles of wine and had a toast to the new season.This year we have two new recruits Mark and Christine.

It was a lively evening and the conversation flowed with the wine.Let’s hope that not only the weather is kind (this season)but that the bowls run their proper course.

The first day is the 19^th May at 4.30 pm People’s Park.
