President Tony attends a Life Education course along with pupils of Orchard Lea Infant School, Fareham
President Tony had an exciting day on Wednesday, 11 May 2016.
Tony attended a class with thirty 5/6 year olds from Orchard Lea Infants School, Fareham on health and nutrition. It was run by Donna Hill of Life Education Wessex in their special large caravan. All the children were very interested and excited as you can from the sea of answering hands!
Harold the giraffe was a major star – in video clips and in person as you see here!
We learnt about key parts of the body and what they do and how to keep them healthy.
When asked what the heart was for, one young lady said “the heart is for loving…..”
Our Rotary club sponsored one day and the head teacher, Alison Pratt, was so interested that the school funded the other day.
All the teachers and pupils thought it was brilliant!
We think this project is so good and so important, that we will be sponsoring other schools in Fareham too.
