Handover dinner at the Baron in Bucknell

Wed, Jul 6th 2016 at 7:15 pm - 9:30 pm

Tonight Dorothy became "Past it" and Patrick became "top dog"......

We had a very enoyable evening with club members, as well as warmly welcomed friends of Rotary Peter, Mary, Peter and Fran plus District Rotarians Christina and Christine. Dinner was enjoyable and after the formalities ( including a poem from Dorothy thanking everyone for their support in her year) there were a few jokes to give us a giggle. Ann also read out a very moving tribute to Margaret Leech who passed away after a long illness last month. She is missed. Ivan fined everyone for everything and the evening finished off with thanks from District Governor's reprentative Chistina. A very enjoyable start to the new Rotary year!`
