A report on the installation of a toilet block.

Report on the toilet block.

During the  presidential year of Ian Birrell (2014-15) a request was received by Peter Ryder (International Convenor)from the Rotary Club of Salt Lake City (India) for assistance to build a toilet block at the Nohari Primary School.

Previously we had completed two successful projects with this club for the Nohari schools (see previous reports). It has been of assistance that a member of their club is the brother of Past President Som Roy.The club was requesting £3000 towards the toilet block and they would also support the project.

The Club council, supported by the members of the club  agreed that  the International Convenor  (Past President Peter Ryder)should work with the Rotary Club of Salt Lake City  to establish a toilet block  at the Nohari Primary School.

The toilet has been completed (during the presidential year of Gordon

Bulter )and was officially opened on 15th January 2016. A  plaque has been attached to the wall of the toilet block recording the assistance given by our club, The Rotary Club  of  Salt Lake City Trust  and Eastern India Rotary Welfare Trust.
