A team of golfers representing Robin Thomson’s Keir Garage took top spot in the recent Thornhill and District Rotary’s Charity am.am golf competition held at Thornhill Golf Club. Only one point behind and in second place was a team representing AMD Contract Services Ltd., with Brownriggs Coaches and Team 4VP taking third and fourth slots respectively.

Rotary President Ian Morrison said ‘We must congratulate our winners not only in achieving excellent scores but also for their determination to complete their round in the face of very challenging conditions due to spells of torrential rain.

I must also thank the members of Thornhill Golf Club for offering us the courtesy of the course. Many of the visiting golfers were most appreciative of the excellent condition of the course.’
