We held our annual Primary School Quiz on Wednesday, 8th February 2017 and were delighted to have 14 of the local Primary Schools entering a team.

The event was held in the New Laigh Kirk, John Dickie Street, Kilmarnock and we are very grateful to the Minister, Rev. David Cameron, and the Kirk Session for allowing us the use of the church again - it is an excellent venue for this event.

Our winners this year were Nether Robertland Primary School from Stewarton and they can now go on to the West of Scotland Final as the Kilmarnock & District representatives. The Final will take place in the Pollokshaws Burgh Hall, Glasgow on 23rd May 2017. We wish them every success.

Congratulations

Charlie Boax, who attends Grange Academy, was the winner of our local Rotary Young Musician competition. On Sunday, 23 April 2023, Charlie competed in the RIGBI Young Musician Final in Manchester and was again successful.
