Bag Packing and collection - M&S Epsom

Sat, Nov 26th 2016 at 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

The main collection hours are from 12 noon to 3pm, when most people are shopping and they are also able to have bucket collections at the entrances.

Epsom Rotary has been approached by CLIC Sargent the children's cancer charity, who have a team at The Royal Marsden Hospital helping children with cancer, in our area and surrounding in Surrey. They have been chosen as Charity of the Year by Marks & Spencer in the Ashley Centre and plan to run 3 bag packing events there between now and March 2016. 2 of these will take place on Saturdays in December, which clash with road Christmas collections, however they have one on Saturday the 26th November and which hopefully could be a day where Epsom Rotary, Epsom Rotaract, Epsom Rotary Associates, supporters and friends could all work together supporting a great cause. The main collection hours are from 12 noon to 3pm, when most people are shopping and they are also able to have bucket collections at the entrances. At this stage it would be great if you could please let me know if possible within the next fortnight whether you can attend during the core hours of 12 noon to 3pm. Dependin g on the uptake we might consider going beyond these times, although I am thinking something like a 90 minute shift for packing and so we do need good support to cover the tills during the core hours. If you are up for doing a longer shift whether during the core hours or beyond them please also let me know. The charity rep will be on hand to supply branding and for support and once I have all the feedback, I will look to putting a rota together and circulate.
