NEWS - Saddleworth Rotary News/ Fund Raising BBQ
Members of Saddleworth Rotary Club managed to elude the region's ubiquitous rain and wind to have a most enjoyable and sunny barbecue last Sunday afternoon.
The Barbecue organised by the Club's Social Committee and hosted by members, Gill and Bill Bussey was a resounding success. Our Master Barbecuer, John Ainley slaved over hot charcoal all afternoon and provided delicious food for everyone. The funds raised were significantly boosted by some very generous and impressive Raffle Prizes including holidays in Mallorca and Wales and a Home cooked Gourmet meal provided by members and a two course lunch kindly donated by The White Hart. Over 40 (members and partners) enjoyed this most convivial occasion. Here's to many more!
