Last year Cambuslang Rotary Club was delighted to sponsor local girl Anna Heywood and help fund her trip to attend a prestigious opera summer school in Bari, Italy. Anna, who is studying at Glasgow University hopes to pursue a career in opera and is already hitting the headlines! She sang for us at one of our meetings last session and we hope to welcome her back this session so we can hear more about her adventures this summer. She will also be one of the guest artistes at our Burns Supper in January - a great opportunity everyone to hear this talented young lady perform.
