Charity Golf Day 2020

Sunshine on Rosemount - great golf and fundraising on a sunny September day. 2021 EVENT - JUNE 1ST!!

Our Charity Golf Day
was held on September 29th over the Rosemount Course at Blairgowrie Golf Club with wonderful weather and perfect course conditions . In these difficult times we had to strictly obey club and rotary rules, however this did not spoil the day despite meals with only 2 to a table.

Our main sponsors, West End garage in Broughty Ferry organised a  Suzuki Swift for a hole in one at the 17th. There was great excitement when we heard there had been a hole in one however it was on the 15th. This shot however earned David Yule from the Rotary Club of Kilrymont, St Andrews, £250.  This shot allowed them to earn 7 Stableford point on the hole and so add to their total of 88 points hence winning the competition.
Runners up were Whiteoak Finance on 86 and Blairgowrie Golf Club 3rd with 85 points ( BIH-better inward half).
Great thanks go to Blairgowrie GC, their caterers and bar staff who went the extra mile, our fantastic sponsors and all Blairgowrie Rotarians who gave of their time and donations.
We could not run events without the assistance and kind donations from sponsors .
