Cycle Ride from the Willet Arms to Upton Country Park (and back again).
The route which was entirely off road following the Castleman Trailway which was named after a Wimborne Solicitor who was responsible for building the original railway line.
Bob McCarthy, Donald Brook & Alan Griffiths meet up at the Willet Arms Pub in Merley at the start of the Castleman Trailway. Cycling from there to Broadstone where Chris Noble joined the group.
The weather was perfect for the ride, earlier rain had dispersed leaving us with a cloudy but windless day.
Our destination was really the Cafe at Upton Country Park where we enjoyed Coffee and cake in the lovely walled garden.
A total of around 14 miles.
