Happy day out.

Kids Out 2017 Thanks to the generosity of you, the readers of this newspaper, 27 youngsters and twelve carers, from 5 primary schools in March, enjoyed an all-expenses paid fun day out at Sacrewell Farm, near Peterborough on Wednesday 14th June. The finance was raised by the recycling of newspapers donated to March Rotary Club’s monthly collection in City Rd Car Park, 2nd Saturday of every month, 9 -12 noon These very happy children, who were a ‘credit’ to their schools, being both polite, well-mannered and fun, were collect by coach and transported safely to the venue. Free admission, a tractor ride, hot lunch, fruit and drink, £3.00 spending money apiece, and returned to their schools. Five Rotarians were on hand, just in case there were of any hiccups, naturally there weren’t, shedding six decades mentally if not physically. We start collecting for next year, Saturday 8th July. Looking forward to meeting you there. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Robert Freema Photos; Time to Go Home happy faces on the coach back to March Lunch Time
