From the Archives - Membership & Communications

Extracts from the Club Council Meeting Minutes:-

1st April 1954:
It was decided to limit membership to 50, due to the size of the meeting room.
(In fact, it would appear that there was a membership waiting list througout the 1950's.)

5th August 1954:
It was agreed that "too much publicity would be contrary to Rotary GB&I policy".
(There is no record of what, if anything, Council were thinking of publicising.)

5th July 1956:
It was agreed that "a magazine or bulletin was not necessary".
