Four members of the club met on an autumnal Sunday afternoon in October to prepare the planters at Cambuslang station for the approaching winter. Once again the weather gods were kind and the sun down on the gardening team - a change from the torrential rain that has accompanied previous work parties!
There are a total of 8 wooden planters and 'train' on the stations two platforms. The team cleared out all the summer begonias and bedding plants replacing them with colourful winter pansies and primulas. This should ensure a colourful display for commuters right thorough the winter months with the promise of more colour from the spring bulbs in the months ahead.
