Faringdon Rotary Support The Pump House with £2000 donation
Club Supports The Pump House Project
Dear Faringdon Rotary Members,
We would like to thank you for your most welcome and generous cheque for £2000.
Our little local community charity is fast becoming even more central to the cohesion of the town. With the removal of all funding for the Faringdon children centre in the spring, The Pump House Project is stepping up to take on the valuable services they have delivered to the community.
We also host the Faringdon Youth Services weekly drop in, Age UK memory café, Speech and Language Therapist from Abingdon Community Hospital and the ever growing Scout/Cubs/Beavers clubs, to name just a few of the groups that utilise the building.
We really appreciate the fact that you have seen the importance of having this unique charity making a difference in our town. The Pump House Projects' aim is to help provide the space for all these community needs and to make our town a better place to live in.
Be assured your gift to the project will go a long way in keeping the building fit for purpose.
