NEWS FROM YOUR LOCAL ROTARY CLUB

We are proud to present the 15th Roy Harrison Memorial Concert - “HALLE CHRISTMAS !” - again to be hosted by the Culcheth Sports Club (Daten). Please make a note of the date !

THE 25TH NOVEMBER

CULCHETH HALLE CONCERT

This popular relaxing event features World Class Musicians from the HALLE ORCHESTRA and their Friends, playing a selection of the more popular classical pieces, each preceded by snippets of background information from one of the Musicians. Hopefully, our mystery Guest Conductor will again appear after the interval to take charge of proceedings and further encourage audience participation.

Starting at 7-30 pm, tickets £12.00 each, are available by telephoning 01925 764370 or from the Culcheth Sports Club. A licensed bar is available for prior and interval drinks. All proceeds will go to the Rotary Foundation, a major charity assisting local and international causes.

Our 9th CULCHETH CHARITY BEER FESTIVAL was attended by 950 Revellers. We hope you enjoyed sampling the 40 great CASK ALES from 31 Breweries, the DRAUGHT CIDERS, the mouth watering G&T’s and SPARKLING FIZZ. Complimentary Soft Drinks were provided for drivers.

This event raised over £12.500 for Rotary charity causes, bringing the total raised over the past 9 years to more than £100.000.

5 great bands entertained us. They were the HUNTER HEALY OOMPH BAND, EVENFALL, THE LAZY RIVER JAZZ BAND, THE OVER-THE-HILLBILLIES & RIFF RIDERS.

We thank all our supporters and Main Sponsors – SANTANDER UK, MKM BUILDERS MERCHANTS, HUNTER HEALY ACCOUNTANTS, THE RAJ INDIAN RESTAURANT, ROOFING CONSULTANTS GROUP, BROSTER’S FARMING & CPS SHOPPING CENTRE.
