Father Christmas collecting in Rainham
The collection in Rainham was a first for our club. With Father Christmas leading the way we led the parade from Tesco’s car park through the market to our pitch just off the square outside the church. Our music competed unsuccessfully with the songs for the dance and singing groups but it was a very picturesque and pleasant. The collectors were few and got fewer as the day wore on and the temperature dropped. Unfortunately we did not collect much but I like to think we added to the festive spirit.

The enjoyment of a meal shared by all is an important aspect of the Rotary meetings. Our venue provides a meeting menu but other options are available on request to cater for individual needs.
