Community Service

Helping in the local community is one of the many roles of Rotary. You will probably have seen us out and about working on local projects without realising who we are.

Our Club always strives to give back to the areas in which we live and work.
We use our professional skills and talents to plan and undertake projects that help to improve the lives of people with diverse needs within our local communities.

Some Typical Community Projects

 In the local Schools

  Rainbow horses

Local community mini bus

And more

  • Improvements to the local environment
  • Improving literacy (Young Writers)
  • Health Issues (raising awareness of diabetes)
  • Food banks
  • Helping local schools, youth clubs, uniformed organisations, community care and much, much more
We also support other communities in their time of need. A typical example of this was the coming together of many Rotary clubs to send help into the areas throughout the country which suffered severe flooding.
