Fund Raising and Charity Support

Fund Raising and Charity Support

A couple of times a year we will hold a "bucket shake" outside a local supermarket to raise funds for other charities like Canine Partners (assistance dogs), Community First Responders (our much-valued local paramedics), or perhaps to enable us to purchase an Aquabox (to be sent to disaster areas wordwide to provide safe drinking water).

Aside from these activities that we organise ourselves, we often provide support to national or local charities by assisting with their collections or manning their stalls.

In the run-up to Remembrance Day, we regularly man the Royal British Legion stalls in the Nottingham shopping centres.  We also assist smaller, local, charities like Framework (the charity that helps homeless and vulnerable people) with their street collections when we can.
