Port Erin Easter ‘Eggstravaganza’

A two day event being held around the village by the Port Erin Traders Association.
Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann members will be helping to run the mini bus shuttle from the park and ride car park to the village centre.


A 2 day event staged around the village to include:

  • Easter “Eggspress” train arriving in Port Erin at 12.50pm
  • Food Market promoting Manx produce,
  • Craft Fair,
  • Mad Hatter’s Tea Party (Sunday) + Teddy Bear’s Picnic (Monday),
  • Easter Bonnet competition,
  • Easter Egg Hunt,
  • Peter Rabbit Treasure Hunt,
  • Colouring Competition,
  • Face Painting,
  • Ballachurry Wetlands Trail,
  • Fun and games……and more
  • Park + Ride and Village Shuttle bus to avoid the roadworks !!

In 2023, the Club is celebrating the 50th Anniversary of it's Charter being granted. To mark, this the Club has delivered a major project to open up disabled access to the stunning views at Bradda Glen in Port Erin

Originally created by the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann as one its first community projects in 1973, the Club in partnership with the Rushen Heritage Trust has refurbished the trail in 2024.

Every year through the Rotary Club of Rushen & Western Mann Charitable Trust, the Club makes donations to a number of international, UK and local good causes following fundraising activities which take place throughout the Year.

Rushen & Western Mann Rotary Club is an active supporter of the ShelterBox Charity. Every year hundreds & thousands of families across the world lose everything when disasters strike - through no fault of their own & often with no warning.

Rotary, along with our partners, has reduced polio cases by 99% worldwide since our first project to vaccinate children in the Philippines in 1979.

The Club formed The John Nicholson Foundation in 1991 (which is a Company Limited by Guarantee and is a Registered Charity),with the aim of Supporting Students in the Advancement of the Visual Arts.
