Easter Parcels 2017

Sixteen Easter Parcels were delivered to a local Primary School

This year we changed the way we distributed our Easter Parcels. We approached a local Primary School and enquired if they had families who could do with a little extra support over the Easter period.

The school has a Welfare Officer who is in regular contact with families who are facing challenging circumstance. The Welfare Officer was delighted to list 16 families needing support and the school delivered the parcels on the last day of term.

Each parcel contained everyday food items together with tooth brushes, tooth paste, hand wash and shower gel and off course Cadbury's Creem Eggs!

Each parcel weighed 23 pounds so in total we provide just over 3 CWTs of food. Hopefully these parcels will take a little pressure off vulnerable families at what can be an expensive time of the year.
