Celebrating the Centenary of Rotary in Cardiff - Beating the Retreat at Cardiff Castle

Beating the Retreat at Cardiff Castle

Some of us joined in the start of the celebrations of 100 years of Rotary in Wales and the 100th birthday of the Cardiff Club.  Cardiff had organised a splendid reception in Cardiff Castle, followed by the Beating of the Retreat by the Band of the Royal Welch Fusiliers TA.  The sun shone, we met many friends from within and outside Rotary across the city of Cardiff, and the ceremony, presided over by HM Lord Lieutenant of South Glamorgan, was carried out impeccably.
