Each year, our club holds a charity Golf Day from which all of the proceeds go to a single charity. This year we've chosen Alzheimers - everyone knows someone who has suffered or is maybe still suffering from this dreadful illness. We hope we can support them drive research forward.
Entry is open to teams of three, with coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, a round of golf followed by a rolling buffet through the afternoon. Scoring is Stableford points with two scores to count on each hole (from a maximum handicap of 24 - those with higher handicaps are welcome but are limited to 24).
Prizes for best team scores, best individual, best front nine, best back nine, Longest drive on 4 holes, nearest the pin on five holes. Lots of opportunities!!
Some of our teams even dress up for the occasion - see the picture - you could too!!
