Beaujolais & Balsam
Thu Jul 6th 2017 at 18.45 - 21.00
Visit to Wayford Woods to help with the clearance of Himalayam Balsam. This will be our seventh year we have spent an evening helping to reduce the spread of balsam in the Wayford Woods. Himalayam balsam is an invasive plant which spreads very quickly. We have helped make a significant inroad into reducing the spread of balsam in the woods, over the past few years. We pull up some balsam for an hour and then enjoy some cheese and wine in the woods. It has been an enjoyable evening in the past. There will some sort of competition, this year, with a locally produced prize for the winner.
A donation of £5 to the Wayford Woods Charitable Trust would be greatly appreciated.
