Steak and Bowls at The Grove Leominster

Thu, Nov 30th 2017 at 6:45 pm - 9:30 pm

This was another of our regular fifth Wednesday events ( though this month it was on a Thursday!!!!)

Due to the steak and bowls evening being fully booked, we elected to share an evening of bowls and pizza with everyone at the Grove. Although the price was good (£8) the quality of the pizza had something to be desired - however the company made up for it and it was a good evening as always. There were 16 of us in three lanes bowling an assortment of gutters as well as a few memorable strikes - the scores were lower that usual ( as Kim said we are all getting older???) but after a battle between Ivan, Keith and Martin the latter emerged the victor. No prizes but another win under Martin's belt. Thanks everyone for lot of laughs and we look forward to the next one on January 31st!
